Well, Gabriela Shalev, Israel’s UN Ambassador had this to say –
“Time here is of the essence. We know that Iran is developing its nuclear capabilities, we know that Iran is going to share this capacity with others and this presents an immediate threat to Israel, from Hamas in the south [and from] Hizbullah in the north.”
When asked about efforts to punish Iran (for refusing to give up IAEA Safeguarded programs to which, as a signatory to the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, Iran is affirmed to have an “inalienable” right) outside the UN framework, she answered, “We should do whatever we can.”
Now don’t let me go all tin hatty here, but,
Faced with the threats of the withdrawal of aid and that if it released the men, the White House would order NATO troops to detain them, Bosnia transferred the men under duress to the custody of the US government in January 2002, and the US transferred them to Guantanamo. Ten days later, in his 2002 State of the Union address, Bush used sixteen words to warn Americans that, in “cooperation” with the Bosnian government, it had captured terrorists who had planned to bomb the US embassy in Sarajevo: “Our soldiers, working with the Bosnian government, seized terrorists who were plotting to bomb our embassy,” Bush told the nation.
Which was part of the larger pack of lies the man keeps spewing for various and sundry reasons.
The election has made most people take their eyes of the screwball in the White House, and let’s not forget that almost everything that they do is primarily political in nature.
The whole world is watching Mr. Bush, the whole world is watching,
22. The Agency has been able to continue to verify the non-diversion of declared nuclear material in Iran. Iran has provided the Agency with access to declared nuclear material and has provided the required nuclear material accounting reports in connection with declared nuclear material and
activities. However, Iran has not implemented the modified text of its Subsidiary Arrangements General Part, Code 3.1 on the early provision of design information.
They are not apt to be as easily fooled as the American media and people.
