Tea Party Slags

Bundy is grifting the wrong group,

When the Tea Party Patriots threw its support last month behind Matt Bevin, the underdog conservative challenger trying to unseat top Senate Republican Mitch McConnell, President Jenny Beth Martin vowed the group would be “putting our money where our mouth is.”

So far, its super PAC has mustered just $56,000 worth of mailers in Kentucky on Bevin’s behalf — less than half the amount it has paid Martin in consulting fees since July.

Then the ROTFLMAO begins,

The practice is not unusual in the freewheeling world of big-money political groups, but it runs counter to the ethos of the tea party movement, which sprouted five years ago amid anger on the right over wasteful government spending.

Which brings some things into more perspective for the young and uninspired, most of which is well understood by everyone that pays attention to things like, oh I don’t know, details and such.

The University of Connecticut hosted a keynote speaking event with former United States senator and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on April 23. She was asked a question about former NSA contractor Edward Snowden and proceeded to express puzzlement and mock him for disclosing information on top secret surveillance programs.

Much of what Clinton said deserves a rebuttal, particularly if this is going to be the talking points that Democratic Party politicians repeat throughout the next fear years. So, I have decided to go line by line through her remarks.

Hilary needs to take care, after all so many TV pundits have annointed her President it would be a shame if she pissed off her base with Republican positions and talking points.

The political party’s ideology was libertarian. A group of former Libertarian Party (LP) members founded the party in 2006. They criticized the LP for its “abdication of political responsibilities”, saying that “Americans deserve and desperately need a pro-freedom party that forcefully advocates libertarian solutions to the issues of today”.[1]

They even had a Presidential candidate in 2008.
