The Difficulty ? Love Gentlemen, Love

Benedict and the leader of the Orthodox delegation, Metropolitan John of Pergamon, prayed together underneath St. Peter’s Basilica at the tomb the faithful believe houses the remains of the apostle Peter.

Pope Benedict XVI stepped up his appeals to Orthodox Christians on Wednesday, saying a unified church could help a world “full of skepticism and doubts” to believe.

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I’s statement to The Associated Press was his first response to the new pope’s call to heal the 1,000-year rift and reflected the difficult task of trying to reconcile differences between the two churches. He warned that the path to unity would be “slow and painful.”

Orthodox churches are largely autonomous, but Bartholomew is considered “first among equals” of the world’s Orthodox patriarchs and directly controls several churches, including the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Reconciliation is a process of repentance,” Bartholomew said Thursday. “If we are to move forward in a journey of reconciliation, then we must truthfully acknowledge the errors of the past. If we cannot yet stand united in the theological doctrines that divide us, we can at least kneel in earnest repentance over the disgraceful prejudices that were the cause of suffering in the past.”

EZ: This applies to all the brothers and sisters in the faith towards not only other Christians, be they Coptic, Ethiopean, Assyrian or Protestant, but other religions and agnostics and atheists as well. Some of the brothers and sisters adhere to grace, yet love without works is dead. The works of love are manifold, from a smile to meal, and as any parent well knows sometimes it requires silence and patience. Good works should spring not from obligation, but from faith, faith that God loved us first. Some argue for “corporate” love and works, and so let them be happy in it, yet I fear that you may think that as an individual you are under no obligation to your fellow man. I urge those of you who believe such to error on the side of caution, as no one will be condemned for doing what is righteousness in the sight of God, and as for unrighteousness, who can tell? Which sin is it that does not lead to death? Remeber the words of our Lord Christ Jesus in all things you do brothers and sisters, so that your own good works shine before man that they glorify Your Father who is in Heaven.

A Sunday Song

Psa 140 To the chief musician. A Psalm of David.

O Jehovah, deliver me from the evil man; keep me from the violent man, who devises evil things in the heart; they gather wars all the day. They sharpen their tongues like a snake; adders’ poison is under their lips. Selah.

O Jehovah, keep me from the hands of the wicked; keep me from the violent man who plots to trip up my steps. The proud have hidden cords and a trap for me; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set snares for me. Selah. I said to Jehovah, You are my God; O Jehovah, give ear to the voice of my prayers.

O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of armor.

O Jehovah, do not grant the desires of the wicked; do not promote his plan, lest they be exalted. Selah. As for the leaders of those around me, let the evil of their own lips cover them. Let burning coals fall on them; let them fall on coals of fire; make them fall into deep pits so that they do not rise again.

Do not let a man of tongue be established in the earth; evil shall hunt the violent man, thrust upon thrust. I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted, the justice of the poor. Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence.

Milk for Evangelizers

Focus on the Kingdom June 2005:

“First we have to know what Jesus said and meant. Then we can believe him by believing his words. You cannot believe Jesus without believing his words. He is defined by his words and his actions. We are drawn into a sympathetic relationship with Jesus by being persuaded (not coerced) by his words. Believing his words means adopting a child-like open attitude to Jesus’ teachings. (One of the great hindrances to actually believing Jesus is our tendency to look for honor from other persons, instead of “seeking the honor which comes from the only one who is God,” the Father of Jesus, John 5:44; cp. 17:3.)”

quod Dominus non fecit

Shall the trumpet be blown in a city, and the people not be afraid? shall evil befall a city, and Jehovah hath not done it?

Surely the Lord Jehovah will do nothing, except he reveal his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared; who will not fear? The Lord Jehovah hath spoken; who can but prophesy?

Genetics and the AF Academy

While orthodox Christianity deserves the criticism for its’ centuries of bloodshed, I wish those who do so would at least not do so from an ahistoric point of view. Christianity is a Jewish religion, all its’ Apostles were Jewish, and so was the Christ. Christianity only became anti Semitic with the decline of the faith under the influence of the Greek philosophies of the school of Alexandria, which produced the first Christian pogrom against the Jews in Egypt. I would hope that the nonbelievers are not as ignorant of these facts as are the Orthodox Christians, who also paint people, places and things with the broad brush of generalization. If one wishes to understand the schisms of the Church, and the bloodshed of the orthodox, then one need look no further than the Greek philosophies.

There are however a small minority of us Christians that do not ascribe to those falsehoods, and rely solely on the teachings of the Bible, teachings that preclude the historic behavior of the Church. Some of us who believe actually believe that Noah and his wife are the parents of all mankind, such as is being borne out by modern DNA researchers, and as such there is no inherent superiority of any one person over another, in spite of all the artificial stratification that mankind seems to need in order for each individual to gauge their own place in the order of things. These things spring from a lack of self confidence on the part of those who do the stratifying, and makes one wonder if self actualization will ever be obtainable for these individuals.

From the current state of world affairs one must conclude that their is no superiority of the religious over the non religious, just as there is no superiority of non believers over those who profess to do so. The world is a basket case solely because of the superiority complexes of individuals, nations and groups, because whether they know it or not, they are living an unreality, and as such really should not be in charge of anything of import.

The minority opinion then, is that we should love one another as human beings, because love does not work evil towards another, nor does it seek its’ own advantage. Anyone doing less than this, or advocating anything less than these two things may in fact be orthodox, but as for being a Christian they are much in need of milk, and as far away from understanding the meat of the matter, as those they wish to evangelize. The evangelicals at the Academy are merely one more example of those in need of milk. That is why they may appear to the objective observer to be for all intents a purposes not too different from the Taliban, Nazis, Communists, Capitalists, Monarchists, conservatives and liberals or little d democrats. Just as it is written;

Psa 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they did hatefully in deeds; there is none doing good. Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of mankind, to see if there were any discerning and seeking God: they have all turned aside; together they have become filthy; there is none doing good, not even one!

Have all doers of iniquity not known, eating My people as they eat bread? They have not called on Jehovah. There they were afraid of terror, for God is in the righteous generation. You have shamed the counsel of the afflicted, for Jehovah is his refuge. Who will bring the salvation of Israel out of Zion? When Jehovah brings back the captivity of His people, Jacob shall rejoice; Israel shall be glad.

The Whores of Christendom

Luk 5:30 And their scribes and the Pharisees murmured at His disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners? And answering, Jesus said to them, Those who are sound have no need of a healer, but those badly having illness. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

It is of the utmost importance for Christians to get the sense of this passage, especially today when so many people are hurting because, to be blunt, the wheels are coming of the machinery of human institutions. The breakdown will continue to worsen, not improve, despite all the efforts of good intentioned individuals, who for all intents and purposes are attempting to tighten the lug nuts on the wheels of a car doing eighty five miles an hour in a school zone, while the car is careening out of control.

Isn’t it enough that the nonbelievers are lawless towards Christians and other nonbelievers? How is it an improvement that a Christian goes returning reviling for reviling, and injury for injury? That so many Christians do so reflects a serious failure of those who would call themselves teachers to teach the Good News as they ought to be teaching it. Truthful is the writing then, that a mere remnant will be left over, because the teachers are failing their flocks, themselves, and most importantly the Lord, and God.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how someone would spend their time going through seminary and come out of it spewing nonsense that neither builds up the congregation that they are assigned to teach, nor increases the peacefulness of the community and nations to which God has given them to live in. God forgive me that I do hate your teachings so deeply.

I hate your teachings because you give refuge to those who oppress and murder the innocent and the weak, and so those without faith that desire justice and peace oppose the Good News. I hate your teachings because they are not grounded in love, but in lucre and fame and the pride of man. I hate your teachings because you know them to be false, and yet you so fear the crowds, and love the world that you will not repent of these teachings, because your teachings give you no room to you the elite to repent, because the very ones you have been robbing would be crushed at the hearing of their wasted efforts, and lives spent in venal things at your behest.

So you go on teaching lies, because you are the children of your father, who was a liar from the beginning and a man slayer, just as you yourselves are. Eighteen hundred years of slaughter of the innocents lays at your feet, and you do not repent of your teachings because you drink the blood of the weak, and clothe yourself in the scarlet colored robes of their blood and the in the purple majesty of the kings you wish to be and whose swords you use to do your slaughtering. Never once have you tried to prevent these slaughters.

I call on the clergy of Christendom then to repent, to turn around, to cease doing bad things for unsound reasons. But I know you will not, because you are lovers of the whores of the age, and you are prostitutes of the worldly powers, and the love for God is not in you. You actually love the world that you have created, and you love the lucre you have obtained to, and you remain ignorant of the wrath of God that remains upon you. But you shall not be ignorant much longer oh son of man, because every eye will see what a whore you are in the coming days, and what will you do in the end of it all, oh Jezebel?

Just So You Know I Know

I am not unaware that my last post may be taken by some to be hubris on my own part, I think it is important that we all be aware of the thing spoken by our brother Paul, “If anyone is thinking that they know a thing, then are not knowing it as well as they ought to know it.” If I am to be boasting then, let me boasting in my knowledge of Jehovah, knowing that I do not know God as well as I wish to, and as such I am not lording my understanding over anyone, as God is not far off from any one of us. It is merely a matter I believe of reading the Bible with an open mind, and praying that God through Christ will lead one in the direction that they need to go. Forgive me if I am a pedantic teacher, it is not my intention, although it may well be my impression. However I must call them as I see them as well.

Ultimately I hold each and everyone of you in equality with me, as I am flesh and blood of the line of Noah, just as you are, and as such pray that the day of the Lord comes in a way we are not expecting, just as the Christ Jesus said, and that we are overwelmed by brotherly love for one another with an instantaneous insight into the true nature of the love that is God, manifested in His Son that befalls us all, at the same time. Until then I must admonish you as well as myself, to be loving one another intensely with all chasteness as towards the flesh, because this knowledge is useless without love.

2017, Rods from God, and the hubris of Man

Amo 9:1 I saw the Lord standing by the altar. And He said, Strike the capital of the door, and the thresholds will shake; and cut them off on the head of all of them. And I will kill the last of them with the sword. Not one of them who flees will flee, and not a fugitive of them will escape.
Amo 9:2 And if they dig through into Sheol, from there My hand will take them. And if they go up to the heavens, from there I will bring them down.
Joe 2:20 But I will remove the northern army far from you, and I will drive him into a dry and desolated land with his face toward the eastern sea, and his rear toward the western sea. And his stench shall come up, and his ill odor shall come up, because he was doing great things.
Rev 13:3 And I saw one of its heads, as having been slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed. And all the earth wondered after the beast.
Rev 13:4 And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast; who is able to make war with it?
Rev 13:5 And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to it. And authority to act forty two months was given to it.
Rev 13:6 And it opened its mouth in blasphemy toward God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those tabernacling in Heaven.
Rev 13:7 And it was given to it “to war with the saints, and to overcome them.” And authority was given to it over every tribe and tongue and nation.
Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will. And he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god; he shall even speak marvelous things against the God of gods and shall prosper until the fury is completed. For that which is decreed shall be done.
Dan 11:37 He shall not regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women; yea, he will not come to any god. For he shall magnify himself above all.
Dan 11:38 But in his place he shall honor the god of forces, and he shall honor a god whom his fathers did not know, with gold and silver and with precious stones, and desirable things.
Dan 11:39 And he shall act in the strongholds of the fortresses with a foreign god, whom he shall acknowledge. He shall multiply in glory, and he shall cause them to rule over many and shall divide the land for a price.
Rev 13:8 And all those dwelling in the earth will worship it, those of whom the names had not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world.
Dan 11:40 And at the end time, the king of the south will engage in butting with him. And the king of the north shall come against him like a tempest, with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships. And he shall go into the lands and shall overflow and pass over.
Dan 11:41 And he shall enter into the glorious land, and many will be stumbled. But these shall escape out of his hand: Edom and Moab, and the chief of the sons of Ammon.
Dan 11:42 And his hand will stretch out against the lands, and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
Dan 11:43 But he will rule over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all Egypt’s desirable things. And the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
Dan 11:44 But news shall trouble him from the east and from the north. And he will go out with great fury to destroy and to devote many to destruction.
Dan 11:45 And he shall plant his palace tents between the seas, in the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, and there is not a helper for him.
Mar 13:14 But when you see “the abomination of desolation,” the one spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (he reading, let him understand), then let those in Judea flee into the mountains.

In the Air Force Space Command’s Strategic Master Plan, FY06 and Beyond, the military said, “Our vision calls for prompt global strike space systems with the capability to apply force from or through space against terrestrial targets. International treaties and laws do not prohibit the use or presence of conventional weapons in space.”

Dan 12:1 And at that time, Michael shall stand up, the great ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as has not been from the being of a nation until that time. And at that time, your people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the Book.
Rev 13:9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

Creationism and Time

Before I get too deep into the subject of rejecting creationism, I think I should once again put forth some simple physics facts. The equation E=MC^2 , is simply, The total (E)nergy of the universe is equal to the total (M)ass of the universe, times the (C)onstant speed of light, (^2) squared. Nuclear weapons are based on this equation, because a corollary is that matter and can neither be created nor destroyed, only converted into energy. Conversely energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted into mass.

If one were to use algebra on the equation, then E=MC^2 divided by E, gives us E/E=MC^2/E, which reduced is 1=MC^2/E. This states that universe is 1, and as such there are no such things as parallel universes. It also means that the universe didn’t appear ex nihil, or out of nothing. The Bible merely states that God created the universe out of His own abundant energy, not how or why, in what is commonly called the Old Testament. How God created the universe is science, why God created the universe is theology. Now one could get into trouble basing their theology on scientific truths, as the search for scientific truths such as how the universe began goes on, and Mr. Einstein may yet be proven wrong. If ones understanding of the Bible contradicts proven science, then one needs to rethink their understanding of the Bible, along with acknowledging that the proven science may also be contradicted by later scientific research. Whether of scientific or theological discourse then, we need to be humble in our assertions of facts.

I am not very aware of the specific arguments that creationists have put forth, because to be honest, I do not listen to Trinitarian explanations of anything Biblical. Western theology is based on some observations of Tertulian, who tried to liken Christ to sunlight and God to the Sun, and that they were indistinquisable from one another, and that the sunlight was the same as the Sun. Tertulian had never heard of supernovas, obviously. Trinitarians however have continued to use philosophy, and old science to try and maintain their theology, which falls apart on anything more than a cursory examination by open minded people. In this regard the Trinitarians do more harm than good, and expose themselves as people who would rather maintain the traditions of men, rather than adhere to the doctrines of God. Their fore runners did the same thing.

Time as mankind gauges it, is based on the rotational speed of the Earth, once every twenty four hours. Hours are divided into minutes and minutes into seconds. It is not an entirely accurate gauge however, so scientist adjust their clocks for the variations in the rotational speed, just as we adjust our calendars with leap years for the variation between orbital days and the actual time it takes Earth to orbit the Sun. The speed of light is measure in how many miles of space per second light travels, yet at the quantum level time and space become interchangeable, while in the astrophysical world time ceases to exist at the event horizon of a black hole.

Let us examine time in another example. We measure years as the orbital time of Earth around the Sun. Each year we add one more year to the past, because to mankind time is unidirectional. It moves from the instant we call now, forward into the future. History is a record of the time that has past, irrevocably lost to mankind’s ability to manipulate events. Those who come in the future cannot change the past, those who came in the past cannot change the now, except through their ideas. Thoughts and ideas then, can transcend time, but those who have had those thoughts and ideas may not. They are as dead to us as we are to those in future. If we put time on a line, then as far as we can tell it is a straight line. Modern man uses BC and AD, or some prefer the CE and BCE, which timeline basically uses the birth of Christ as the zero point of the time line.

As Christians however, we are given insight into time from God’s perspective. This is no minor point, that the Christ made then, when he said; Mar 12:24-27 And answering Jesus said to them, Do you not err because of this, not knowing Scriptures, nor the power of God? For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are as the angels in Heaven. And as regards the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses how God spoke to him in the Bush, saying, “I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob?” He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. Therefore you greatly err.

Indeed to mankind, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are quite dead, and their tombs are amongst today. Yet to God they are as alive today as they ever were. If we use the previous time line as an X axis, then what Christ has revealed to us is God’s power and ability to use the Y axis. It is imaginary time to mankind, because we have to imagine it. It is real time to God because He makes it so, just as modern mathematicians make imaginary numbers real so that they can use the calculus, and from this springs much modern science. In a nutshell then, mankind does not really know if we are on the X or Y axis of time.

Scripture does not say on which axis God Created the universe, and all that is in it, on. Nor can mankind discern that axis, because for all we know this thing we gauge as time is moving sideways on the Y axis. Conversely to those traveling on times X axis then, anything on the Y axis is all occurring at the same instant.

If you can, then, take the Y axis, and bend it around until the positive and negative infinities touch, and do the same with the X axis, and in your mind, form a sphere of time, much like the globe with its’ equator and meridian, so that time as a concept has the four dimensions that we can comprehend. Now think of the other dimensions that we cannot comprehend as that which is outside the sphere of time. Perhaps now we might, just might, gain some insight into God’s perspective of time. This is the power of God. Again we are met with the maxim, to be humble before God, and nature. Creationism is just the hubris of man.

It is enough work then, for Christians to do as we were commanded to do by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Love God with all your heart and all your life and all your strength and all of you mind, and to love one another as you do yourself, as that is the sole obligation of man. If you cannot convince other people to think as you think, you will not compel them to do so either. Your obligation to make disciples supercedes your desire to teach your doctrine. How will you teach those to love their fellow man, whom you have already taught to hate, and hate you at that?

On InstaGreenAtrioKos, etc. etc.

For what it’s worth, I write things that I think may be useful to those Christians that don’t fit in with regular church going folk, and hopefully to those who are agnostic and atheistic or just searching for any sense in the world around them. While at one time I was a political partisan, I find that that sort of thing is counter intuitive to what I am attempting to do now. I am of course happy for those of you who are discovering that it is OK to be a Christian and liberal, but I would prefer it if the things that I have written on this blog wasn’t used for wall paper on other peoples blogs. I would imagine that those other people feel the same way, but then who knows?

I have a hard time distinguishing between the ego centricities of the InstaGreenAtriokos folk, and those of the talking heads of the classic print, radio and TV disinformation machines. I understand that as an American I will naturally have a rather limited world view, despite the effort to become informed, as the American media doesn’t really make any effort to inform the people of all the facts so that the public might weigh them and come to an informed opinion of any particular issue. Their sole purpose is to sell you another can of peas or whiz bang gizmo that really is garbage passing through you on the way to the dump. Whether this is a modern phenomena or not is beside the point, as it is the reality of the American media, and so for the most part the American public remains so uninformed as to make impossible to distinguish between the college educated and the illiterate. The result is the same.

Into this void have rushed all sorts of manipulative folk, who over the years have suborned the political process to rather venal purposes, much as has occurred in organized Christianity over the centuries. One might conclude that the information age has allowed the politicians to do to the Constitution in a decade the damage the theologians have taken centuries to accomplish to the Good News. Capitalism itself thrives on greed, so there isn’t much room for added corruption in an economic system that is inherently corrupt and exploitative, and so there really isn’t too much to add to the debate in that regard. Historically every economic, political or religious system in whatever combination ends up producing the same results for the majority of the people, with pretty much the same useless sort of people lording it over the peasants they have created to rule.

I have therefore concluded that to abjure from the political debate is the best policy, as the debate is a charade. Federalism died in the Civil War, and the modern debate centers on the rate of digging the hole or how hot the fire should be in the larger debate of whether to bury or cremate the remains of the Constitution. Americans are historically a lawless people, and they remain so today, because they are also a self deluding people. If therefore I am to be deluded and a fool, I prefer to be a delude by God and a fool for Christ.

On Christian Humanity

One of the more perplexing aspects of being a Christian, for me, is those daily moments when I am reflecting on something I have read and realize that for all my efforts into learning and absorbing the Scriptures, that at the end of the day I am pretty much in the same boat as nonbelievers, in that I tend to follow the inclinations of my own heart. Just as our brother Paul wrote, “the things I wish to do, I do not do, and the things I wish to not do, I do…”, and again as our brother James wrote, “each one of us is drawn out by our own desires, and when those desires come to fruition, give birth to sin..”, and so it goes for me as well as nonbelievers. Now there is I think great advantage to being a Christian, in that as we learn from the Scriptures we modify our own behavior to comport with those precepts we have learned, and as such save ourselves from many harmful behaviors. Yet the inclinations of the human heart, remains the same for the believer as for the nonbeliever, and so there is no basis for me as a Christian to judge other individuals, be they of the faith or not, in that their behavior follows their own inclinations, and although I may have a superior understanding of the inclination, I am not immune from it any more than Paul or James were.

Now if I am to claim a superior understanding of the Scripture then I am also under some obligation to pass it along to the brothers and sisters, be they believers or not, as this what disciples are, they are learners, and as such we must learn from each other as well. I find it a rare person who can claim they believe in God, and then not believe in Noah. There are some who claim that this race or that group are descended from Cain, following their own inclinations rather than the truth as it is written, and not comprehending that the line of Cain perished in the flood. If one believes in God, then one believes in Noah, and we must acknowledge that all the families of Earth sprang from he and wife, and that being the case we all share some common traits, along with the common blood line. There are also some who claim that this group or that are the descendants of Ham and as such cursed by God to slavery, when a careful reading of the Scripture reveals that it was Ham’s son Caanan that was so cursed, and that one was a Caananite, and not Cain, nor any of the clans and tribes of Africa. Those who teach these things then, are following the inclinations of their own hearts, and failing to adhere to the word of God. It should be the obligation of every Christian then, to gently bring these individuals into the correct understanding of the written record. It should be helpful then to admit to our own failures in this regard and our own misunderstandings of the Scripture, both to those whom we wish to save, as well as to our own self. This is the example left to us by the Apostles, and it would be hubris on our part to assume that we are immune to what they were not.

Now if the righteous are being saved with great difficulty, then how much more so should we exert ourselves towards those whom we may judge to be unrighteous ones? If it were a trivial thing for Paul to be examined by other men, because he as he said, he was examined by Jehovah, then how trivial a thing is it for us to examine other men? If it is a trivial thing, then it is a trivial thing, and the hour being short, who amongst us has time for the trivial? Even if you were without error, how does your judgment save one man from standing before God to give an accounting of their own activities, just as you yourself will? Just as one must judge a thing to condemn it, so too there is one who will judge and there is one who will excuse or condemn, and that is not you dear brother or sister, that is not you. Just as it is written, “did the good news originate with you? Or has it only reached as far as you?”

Now we are under obligation to live our lives and conduct our activities and speech in such a way as to not stumble anyone from coming to an accurate knowledge of the truth and the Kingdom of God. Indeed as James wrote, “If anyone can bridle his own tongue, then that one can bridle his whole body.” Our speech then, ought to be such that we give no room for those who oppose God to oppose Him on account of us. Whether it is foul language or political discourse, we should not hold that our right to free speech is more sacred then our commission to be making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. If your political views and moral views cannot be expressed in such a way as you would speak to your father or mother, then it may be better to bridle your tongue than to stumble someone else who for the moment disagrees with you. Just as Paul wrote, ” love does not seek its’ own advantage…”, so you should be speaking and doing. Of what use is it to you if you should win a debate and yet lose the soul of the one you are debating? The Apostle John wrote, ” do not be loving the world or the things in the world. What do you not know that those who are loving the world constitute themselves enemies of God?” Politics, is and is of the world. It would be better for you throw away your political views and enter into the Kingdom of Heaven without them, than to be pitched into Gehenna with them. It would be better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God without moral judgments than to be pitched into Gehenna with them. Just as it is written, I would hate to “come into judgment for the things that I approve.” Separate yourselves from the unclean things.

Now the task before you may seem impossible, and yet with God nothing is impossible. God is love, and by love and through love all things are possible. By love we raise our children, whether one is a believer or not. By love we endure all things whether one is a believer or not. By love we do not count the cost of those whom we love, whether one is a believer or not. If by love these things are being done by non believers as well as by we who are believers, what is the superiority of our love? Is it not in loving those who hate us? Is it not in blessing those who curse us? Is it not in enduring all these things, just as the Christ endured them for you? You make disciples by loving those whom you wish to make disciples of. You do not make disciple of those who believe and are already disciples, but of the non believers. Exert yourselves in this then, and widen yourself out in your tender mercies and compassion towards those whom oppose you and revile you, not returning reviling for reviling, nor blow for blow. It is in learning to love those who hate you, that you learn to love those who love you all the more. Sow love amongst all men, whether you approve of them or not, because just as it is written, “God is not one to be mocked, and whatsoever a man is sowing, so shall he reap.” Exert yourselves then, brothers and sisters, to reap love, and that in abundance. In doing so you will be found pleasing to God, and He will exalt you. Just as it is written, “May you have the undeserved kindness and peace of our God the Father, and of of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, just as you show it. ” Amen.

When Love Fails

One of the most difficult aspects of Christianity for me has been to remain without spot from the world. It is written that one cannot be loving the world or the things in the world without being an enemy of God, and so I really concern myself with avoiding the taint of the world.

Politics is an easy one, for me, because I can plainly see that it divides man from man. Whether they are Christians, or of other faiths, the world is replete with political divisions that cut across all economic, religious and racial lines. None of these faiths seem able to unite their adherents into any sort of peaceful coexistence with one another, much less those who are of other faiths. Israel, Iraq, and America are all on the verge of civil wars due to politics, and politicians that exacerbate the differences in both the political and religious spheres, for the purpose of personal economic gains. It is probably due to the indifference of the American media that we are less well informed of these differences and tendencies in other parts of the world, and in other nations. One must conclude that the purpose of the media then is not to inform, but to shape public opinion. American media then, either by purpose or default, is a propaganda outlet for the powers that divide mankind, and hence they are satanic tools.

There is a poll being widely reported today that details the religious zealotry of the American people. Sixty percent attend church regularly, and eighty percent attend occasionally, while ninety percent of them believe in God. This is all wonderful information, and I suppose the people and the press will delude themselves about that until the nation explodes into civil war. What faith has been reported on will become apparent then, as “Christians” slaughter each other just as their forefathers before them did. I suppose it could be described as loving each other to death. It is going to be extremely difficult to maintain ones Christianity in those days, because the pulpit puppets will continue to exacerbate the situation, independent of whatever region they are in, and encourage their listeners to kill and slaughter those “Godless heathen”, which they will define and refine as the situation develops and the fault lines are exposed in the political discourse. A Christian, then, should not underestimate the political and religious Jacobeans being unleashed in America.

The above would be bad enough in and of itself, yet that will not be the case, as natural fault lines in California and the Mississippi valley will rupture leaving the decimated nation with massive destruction to cope with. Nor will the weather be of any help as massive droughts engulf the grain belts, or unseasonable rains flood crop lands and inland cities, at inopportune times from hurricanes and other storms that will batter the coast and disrupt the fishing industry with fresh water flooding ponds and estuaries. Therein the diseases will flourish, and despite all off this, the powers that be will continue to wage their wars of righteous indignation until the social infrastructure collapses completely, and the city folk are killing one another indiscriminately for a can of peas. Unfortunately the world will be unable and unwilling to come to the aid as they will be suffering from the same disease and symptoms as America. It will be a long year.

Sometime after the death of four billion people the powers that be will come to their senses and work out a framework that restores some semblance of normalcy and declare that peace and security have finally come to the earth. Then God will unleash his Angels and the last two billion will see the edge of the sword of God, and mankind will be as scarce as the gold of Ophir. My money is on you and your children won’t make it.

Why the Christ was Baptized

Exo 40:12 And you shall cause to draw near Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall wash them with water. And you shall clothe Aaron with the holy garments. And you shall anoint him and sanctify him. And he shall serve as priest to Me.

And you shall cause his sons to draw near. And you shall clothe them with tunics. And you shall anoint them as you anointed their father. And they shall serve as priests to Me. And their anointing shall be for an everlasting priesthood for their generations.

Neh 8:2 And Ezra the priest brought the Law before the congregation, both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month. And he read in it before the plaza before the Water Gate, from the morning until noon, before the men and the women, and those who could understand. And the ears of all the people listened to the Book of the Law.

Mat 3:13 Then Jesus arrives from Galilee to the Jordan, to John, to be baptized by him. But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?

But answering, Jesus said to him, Allow it now, for it is becoming to us this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allows Him. And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water. And, behold! The heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God coming down as a dove, and coming upon Him. And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have been delighting.

Psa 2 Why have the nations raged and the peoples are meditating on vanity? The kings of the earth set themselves; yea, the rulers have plotted together against Jehovah and His Anointed, saying, We will break their bands in two, and throw off their cords from us. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall mock at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger, and He will terrify them in His wrath; Yea, I have set My king on My holy mount on Zion.

I will declare concerning the statute of Jehovah: He said to Me, You are My Son. Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give the nations as Your inheritance; and the uttermost parts of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Now, then, be wise, O kings; be taught, O judges of the earth: Serve Jehovah with fear; yea, rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Oh the blessings of all those who flee to Him for refuge!

Isa 42 Behold My Servant; I will uphold Him; My Elect in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations.

He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He shall not break, and a smoking wick He shall not quench; He shall bring forth justice to truth. He shall not fail nor be crushed until He has set justice in the earth; and the coasts shall wait for His Law.

So says Jehovah God, creating the heavens and stretching them out; spreading out the earth and its offspring, giving breath to the people on it, and spirit to those walking in it. I, Jehovah, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand, and will keep You, and give You for a covenant of the people, for a Light of the nations; to open blind eyes, to lead out the prisoner from the prison; those who sit in darkness from the prison.

I am Jehovah; that is My name; and I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to engraved images.

I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrences befall them all.

For man also does not know his time. Just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net, and like birds that are being taken in a trap, so the sons of men themselves are being ensnared at a calamitous time, when it falls upon them suddenly.

Also this I saw as respects wisdom under the sun—and it was great to me:

There was a little city, and the men in it were few; and there came to it a great king, and he surrounded it and built against it great strongholds.

And there was found in it a man, needy [but] wise, and that one provided escape for the city by his wisdom. But no man remembered that needy man.

And I myself said: “Wisdom is better than mightiness; yet the wisdom of the needy one is despised, and his words are not listened to.”

The words of the wise ones in quietness are more to be heard than the cry of one ruling among stupid people.

Wisdom is better than implements for fighting, and merely one sinner can destroy much good.

Whores with Stones

Whether we are living in the last days, as many contend but cannot prove as it is written; Then, indeed, these coming together, they asked Him, saying, Lord, do You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? And He said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in His own authority. “, we who are Christians are obligated to do certain things, be the end comes in fifteen minutes or fifteen hundred years. That is to have love amongst ourselves. Having not obtained to that, it is a wonder that those who have magnified themselves above the rest of the flock should find it within their purview to meddle in the affairs of others, when their own flocks are in such disarray, and failing in their own Christian mission. These useless people can neither do the things commanded by the Christ, nor teach those things to their flocks, and so they are the most lecherous of all the worthless people who suck the very live blood out of the sons of man.

It is troubling enough to meet up with the ordinary Christian spewing vileness out of ignorance, but to have to endure those potentates of the Gnostic teachings of seminaries spewing out the same vile ignorance is almost more than one can bear. I must observe those who are not believers dismiss them for the fools that they are, and those of us that seek to serve God must seek to remain silent out of respect for God. Let no one be misled, those that claim some sort of title above that of Christian are neither, and I am under obligation to warn them here and now, today, to stop bringing reproach on the name of Christ, and to stop blaspheming the name of God, if you should know it at all.

How will these useless men teach others to love their enemies when they do not even have love amongst themselves? If they had love amongst themselves they would not betitle themselves and spend all day telling other people what to do. If they were indeed elders they would be on the streets trending to downtrodden and bereaved of mankind in their own nation, just as the Lord Jesus Christ did, and just as the Apostles of the Christ did. Anyone who has read the Scripture can clearly discern the difference between what those who served God did, and those who pretend to, do today. One can hardly imagine the Apostles counseling the faithful to build basketball courts, or stand outside on the streets yelling at nonbelievers about their human foibles, and so they not only blasphemy the name of Christ when they do so, but they teach others to so as well. It is indeed a most difficult thing not to hate these useless people.

The spawn of their teachings are the headlines of the daily papers. It is a fine thing to kill innocent civilians in wars if one believes in a culture of life is it? It is a fine thing to exploit African miners if one uses some of the lucre to praise the Lord on TV is it? It is a fine thing to declare a nation a Christian nation while the government is crushing the weak and poor underfoot, and stealing their moneys through fraud, and deception to hide the leaderships greed is it? It is a fine thing to hide the clergy away in foreign lands if they molest the children of those who are being deceived by your false teachings and piety is it? It is a fine thing to obligate others to follow the laws of Moses so long as it benefits you, and you do not have to follow them isn’t it? It is a fine thing to negate the teachings of Christ for the doctrines, dogmas and creeds of man is it? May the Sovereign Lord Jehovah rebuke you, oh Seminarians, may Jehovah rebuke You.

Gray Area this, Mr. President !

I think it should be quite clear, to any Christian, or any of those who purport to be Christians, that there is absolutely no gray area in the Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo Bay prisoner abuse scandals. It is absolutely unconscionable to try to make these abominations into anything less than an affront to the faith. These are not the activities of Christians, nor should a Christian condone, defend or rationalize the abuse of their fellow human beings for whatever reason in whatever situation. These are in fact the same things our Lord Jesus Christ suffered at the hands of the Romans. There can be no compromise with the worldly powers on these things.

Do you, oh son of man, not understand the Great Commission, given to all Christians, to go making disciples of the Lord? Are you not robbing God, and our Lord Jesus Christ of their gifts in men, when you set the world on fire against you with your ungodly behavior? How am I to reach out past the noise not only of the useless men who do, and ordered these things done, but their crowd yelling for the detainees to be scourged and crucified? I do wish that these people would circumcise their hearts, and if not then their tongues. Is it any wonder that the Western world is falling away from the faith, when you who are so vocal about abortion are so silent about wars and the crimes of war. Is your silence not enough? What is it that compels you to support with your words and actions these antiChristian behaviors? Is it not written thus;

“For so says Jehovah, the God of Israel, to me. Take the wine cup of this wrath from My hand and cause all the nations to whom I shall send you to drink it. And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be maddened, because of the sword that I will send among them. Then I took the cup from Jehovah’s hand and made all the nations drink, those to whom Jehovah had sent me: Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and their kings, and their rulers, to make them a ruin, a horror, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day; Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and his servants, and his rulers, and all his people; and all the mixed people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod, Edom, and Moab, and the sons of Ammon, and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the coastal kings beyond the sea, Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all who cut the corners of their beards, and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mixed people who dwell in the desert, and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media, and all the kings of the north, far and near, each one to his brother, and all the kingdoms of the world which are on the face of the earth; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.

So you shall say to them, So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, and be drunk, and vomit, and fall, and do not rise up, because of the sword which I will send among you. And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them, So says Jehovah of Hosts, Drinking you shall drink. For, behold, I begin to bring evil on the city on which is called My name, and shall you be found entirely without guilt? You shall not be without guilt. For I will call for a sword on all those living in the earth, says Jehovah of Hosts.

And now you prophesy against them all these Words, and say to them, Jehovah shall roar from on high and give forth His voice from His holy habitation; He shall mightily roar over His dwelling place. He answers with a shout, like those who tread out the grapes, against all those living in the earth. A roaring will go to the ends of the earth, for Jehovah has a controversy with the nations. He will enter into judgment with all flesh; He will give the wicked to the sword, says Jehovah. So says Jehovah of Hosts, Behold, evil is going from nation to nation, and a great tempest shall be stirred up from the corners of the earth. And the slain of Jehovah shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be mourned, nor gathered, nor buried; they shall be as dung on the face of the earth.

Howl, O shepherds, and cry, and roll in ashes, O leaders of the flock! For the days of your slaughter and of your scatterings are fulfilled, and you shall fall like a desirable vessel. And refuge has perished from the shepherds, and escape from the leaders of the flock. The sound of the cry of the shepherds, and the howling from the leaders of the flock will be heard. For Jehovah is spoiling their pasture.

And the peaceful pastures are devastated, because of the glow of the anger of Jehovah. Like the young lion, He has left His den; for their land is a waste because of the glow of the oppressor, and because of His flowing anger.”

And again it is written; “When that one says Peace!, He will be standing for war.”
